How to apply for Circle Yield

When applying for Circle Account, you will be presented with the option to apply for Circle Yield. If you don't choose to do so at this time, you can apply for Circle Yield after your Circle Account is approved. 

To apply for Circle Yield after your Circle Account is approved, you'll need to first log in to your Circle Account.


Step 1: Navigate to Treasury

Navigate to the Treasury Tab on the top menu bar. Click the “Apply Now” button in the first box on the left side labeled with #1.



Step 2:  Choose your location

Circle Yield is currently only available in these jurisdictions. Please choose your operation location. Your entity must be an eligible business, and a minimum of 100,000 USDC is required to invest in Yield. Please check the box after reading this statement and click “Apply Now.”

*Not currently available in the following U.S. states: Alaska, Minnesota, New York and Hawaii.


Step 3: Directed to Application Portal

Click the blue “Continue” button to proceed.


Step 4: Application Portal 

The Circle Yield Application will appear in the portal. Click the blue “Start” button to begin the application process, where you will be asked to provide:

1. Business information

2. Tax information

3. A lender qualification statement 

4. An accredited investor verification



Step 5: Contract Signing

Once your application is approved, you will be notified via email that your application for Circle Yield has been approved and that your contract is ready for signature. The Treasury Tab will show the "Apply" box as completed with a checkmark and the "Sign" box (middle panel) will also appear with a “Sign and View” clickable button.



Click this to proceed with the contract signing.


You will be taken to the Nova Portal to proceed. Click the blue “Sign” button next to Signatures.



You will be directed back to the Nova Portal. Click the blue “Start” button to proceed.


A DocuSign will appear for you. You will receive three documents: a Lender Joinder agreement (requires signature), the fully executed Line of Credit and Collateral agreements. Once you have read the Lender Joinder in full, sign the marked spaces and click the blue “Submit” button on the bottom right-hand corner.

Once the Yield contract has been signed and countersigned by Circle, you will receive a confirmation email notifying you and leading to the final part of the Yield process. The countersigned document will also be attached via email.
