What are delayed withdrawals?

Delayed withdrawals are an added security feature within your Circle Account. Delayed withdrawals can be turned on and off within your Circle Account in the Account Security tab. There will be a 48-hour period when turning delayed withdrawals off until it is disabled.

By default, this feature will be turned on. Circle recommends you keep this security feature turned ON.

How does it work?

When adding a new wallet address to your Circle Account, the delayed withdrawals feature will put a 24-hour hold on the added address to guard against unauthorized activity. After 24 hours, an authorized user of your account will be able to withdraw money to this address.
