How to turn auto-renew on and off

Circle Yield offers auto-renew, so you can set it and forget it. You can toggle your auto-renew on and off within your Circle Account. Below we'll walk through the steps of turning auto-renew off and on. 

Step 1

Log into your Circle Account.

Step 2

Navigate to Yield from the sidebar menu. This is where you'll be able to access your auto-renew settings.

Step 3

Select the loan you would like to set-up with auto-renew.

Navigate to the auto-renew section, which is in the middle of the page, highlighted below.

Toggle the auto-renew on. Once you select this option, you will be prompted to confirm your decision. Don't worry, you can change your mind and turn auto-renew off prior to the start of your new loan term.

Step 5

Once you've turned auto-renew on, you will see the option for auto-renew is now highlighted in green/blue. This box will tell you how much will be reinvested, when your upcoming auto-renew date is, and the date you'll be able to see your new term's rate. Please note that current rates update every Friday afternoon, eastern time.

FAQ

What amount will roll over to the following term when auto-renew is enabled? 

The principal amount from your Circle Yield loan will roll over to your next term. At this time, we are unable to roll both your principal and interest over in auto-renew. 

When will I know the new rate, APY, for my new loan? 

Circle Yield rates update every Friday afternoon, eastern time. The new rate for your auto-renewed loan will be the rate published the Friday prior to your auto-renew.

What happens if I forget to turn off auto-renew? 

Your initially funded Circle Yield loan will roll over and your funds will be unavailable to withdraw until the end of the term you currently renewed for. 

Will Circle remind me that my loan is about to auto-renew?

Yes, Circle will send an email notification up to one week prior when the new applicable rates are published.
